Who is Art for the Hearts Sake?
Art For Heart’s Sake is a social enterprise that seeks to raise
awareness and encourage charitable donation through creative engagement.
Kids Company is
a London based charity which provides practical, emotional and
educational support to vulnerable inner-city children and young people
suffering neglect and abuse. Many of the children they reach have
experienced severe and multiple trauma; often living in chronic
deprivation, with little or no support. The charity helps to restore
trust and provide an environment in which kids can begin the healing
process, using a support system that includes psychotherapy,
counselling, education, arts, sports, hot meals, and a number of other
practical interventions. The support Kids Company offers
is tailored to the needs of each individual. They never give up, they
do whatever it takes. Every pound that we raise will make a lasting
difference to a child’s life, help return them to their childhood and
offer the possibility of a better future.
This is a great opportunity for you to see some amazing
contemporary art and for a great cause too. You have the opportunity to give
a donation or bid on a piece of art you would like to have hanging in
your home.
