I've been listening to New Zealand dream-folk duo French for Rabbits non-stop for the last week. I'm in love with the duos songstress and writer, Brooke Singer. Her voice is fragile yet captivating, pulling you in to her whimsical world of music. Her and John Fitzgerald formed the band back in 2011 to help Brooke get over her fear of singing in public. Fast-forward to 2013 their debut EP Claimed by the Sea was nominated for Best Fold album in 2013 in the New Zealand music awards. In July of this year they toured the UK for the first time and are working and their debut album now! Woohoo!!!! I can't wait for it!
