The Waddler Story

Most of you are quite aware of the beautiful brand Waddler. I've written about them before on the blog.  If you're looking for beautiful jersey knits made of 100% baby alpaca, then Waddler is the brand for you. Waddler is the creation of Philip and Marina Thompson. They created the brand after their travels to  South America where they saw first hand the miraculous process of creating wool. Waddler's baby alpaca wool comes from a small cooperative in El Alto, where they process the wool into yarn using a 19th Century British machinery. Not far from where the yarn is made a small group hand knit the yarn into Waddler's beautiful designs. The Thompsons care a great deal about who is making their garments and also who is buying them. This is why they make sure their workers earn 3 times the minimum wage so they can provide a good life for their family and in return the Waddler customer receives a beautifully made garment that is gentle our your little ones skin.
I am completely in love with their AW 13/14 Collection and looking forward to those autumn days so I can dress my little one in their gorgeous collection.
