Now that it is absolutely gorgeous here in London it reminds me of fresh linens and beautiful fabrics and it takes me to a far away place. Today reminded me of Rikshaw Designs, beautiful fabrics and designs made using block printing from India. Rikshaw Design founder and designer Catherine Fitzsimmons has traveled the world over, but found such inspiration in India. She fell in love with the people and the beauty of the country, but was also captivated by their tradition of Indian block printing. She was so captivated by the technique, she decided to bring the traditional printing to the States and created Rikshaw Design in 2008. She designs a beautiful collection of bohemian clothing, bedding, and accessories for women and children. Get inspired by her collection here:
